ビジネスの場に限らず日常生活でも、値段や価格は、モノやサービスをの売り買いの際に必ず話題になります。今回は、値段や価格の様々な英単語、価格の上昇や下落についての英語表現を例文とともにご紹介します。

price：価格

ビジネスで使える英語フレーズ：『これを新しい価格に織り込む必要があります』
We need to factor this into the new pricing.
名詞で使い慣れた factor という単語ですが、価格に織り込んだり、計算に含めたり、考慮に入れたりするときに、他動詞で使えます。

Regular price 通常価格
I usually buy my books online because they are cheaper but even if they’re not, I will still order them online at the regular price.

standard price 標準価格
Two Pounds Ten is the standard price for this type of ring binder.

fair price 適正価格
I think it means that a product is being sold at a fair price.

asking price 表示価格

One helpful phrase during price negotiations is “What is the best that you can do if I make a decision today?” This means that you want to know what their lowest or best offer is and that you’re prepared to agree to it that day if it’s favorable.
価格交渉の時に使えるフレーズとして、「今日購入を決めたら、どんな特典を頂けますか？」という表現があります。相手が提示できる最低価格を知ることが出来る訳で、良いと判断すれば、その日のうちに合意できる用意があることになります。
