※ rapidly, gradually, slowly, sharply, dramatically, greatly などを使って、その速さや程度を表現しています。
「他の通貨に対して」上がった、または、下がったことを表現する際には、以下のような言い方が出来ます。

為替の上げ下げを語るだけでなく、それがもたらす影響や今後の見通しを話す際に、以下のような表現が参考になります。
The yen will probably remain low for the next five to ten years.
ここ5年から10年は、円安のまま留まるでしょう。
I think the downward trend of the yen’s depreciation is continuing.
円の下降傾向は続くと思います。

円安メリットを語る英語表現
為替レートの上げ下げがもたらす影響について語る時の英語例文です。
Of course when the Yen is weaker, exporting companies have a field day.
もちろん、輸出企業は円安大歓迎です。
a field day は、運動会という意味もありますが、ここでは、大喜びをする機会 という意味で使われています。
こういう表現がサラっとできると、カッコいいですね。
Exporting companies, above all the automobile industry, have recorded the highest levels of profit.
輸出企業、中でも自動車産業は、過去最高レベルの利益を出しました。
「記録的な」とか、「過去最高レベルの」等の表現は、相手の頭に残りやすいワードです。
It’s a favorable effect for exporting companies. Lower costs to foreign markets usually translates to increased business.
輸出企業には良い影響があります。海外の市場へ低い価格で出せれば、ビジネスの伸びに繋がります。
このtranslate to の使い方は、ネイティブならではのこなれ感があります。

円安は日本経済に好影響を与えます。

今の為替レートは、うちの会社にとって良い状況です。
Some companies enjoy increased profits with a lower yen.
円の下落によって利益を得ている会社もあります。
a favorable/good/positive effect on __ で、～にとって良い影響が、という意味になります。また、enjoy を使うことでも、好影響を受けていることが表現できます。
If the yen is depreciated, our exports earn more money.
円が下がれば、輸出で、より利益を出せます。
If the Japanese currency decreases in value, the corporations in Japan can increase their profits as the consumer price will increase.
日本円が下がると、消費者価格が上がるので、日本企業は利益を上げられます。
Because of the currency devaluation, Japanese products have become cheaper and more attractive to foreigners, so exports have increased.
通貨の切り下げによって、日本の商品は安くなり外国人にとって魅力的になったため、輸出が増えました。
