面接官は、なぜTell Me About Yourself.と聞いているのか？

あなたの中の優先順位を知りたい

第一に面接官は、あなたの経歴やスキルの中で、応募先に対してあなたが何を「重要」と考えているかを見ています。

つまり、応募している仕事やポジションについて、あなたがどの程度理解し、あなたの何がそれに貢献できると考えているのかを見たいのです。

ですから自己紹介の中では、自分の経験、技術・スキル、能力の中から、応募している仕事やポジションに有用なもの、面接官やその会社が求めているものを選んで、さらに、優先順位をつけて話していくべきです。

応募先の会社が今一番力を入れている事について話せたら、最高です。

1. 自己紹介は簡潔に！

詳細情報は避け、必要最低限の情報を明確に伝えるようにしましょう。詳細については、ポジションの特性と面接官の興味に合わせて、後の質問の中でアピールしましょう。
