• 独身最後のどんちゃん騒ぎ？

  結婚などの明るい話題をレッスンの中で話せるのは、講師たちにとっても嬉しいものです。
  今回は、外国でよく行われる独身最後のパーティについてのコメントです。

  独身生活最後の男性のためのパーティは　a bachelor party
  独身生活最後の女性のためのパーティは　a hen night

  と言います。

  A bachelor party is often referred to as a stag night and the equivalent of this for girls is a hen night.
  These nights out (separately, not together) mark the end of single life for the future bride and groom and usually take place about a week before the wedding ceremony.

  日本には、あまりこういう習慣はありませんが、西洋の人たちにとっては、とても一般的なようですね。
